What do you mean when you say the R2006GS receiver is 'switchable'? We're not sure what a 'geer lite' happens to be. The OrangeRx SF7003XS has all the properties and features of the original FASST compatible receivers in the OrangeRx brand but this one now operates on the later Futaba FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) system. This receiver also has S-Bus and a built in 3 axis stabilizer which is brilliant in model airplanes to help beginners master the art of RC flying and for experienced pilots to make their flying even smoother. This receiver is perfect for the large gliders with long wingspans, it really helps to smooth out the turns and nose attitude when thermalling at higher altitudes.
The stabilizer function has 5 modes, mixer off, dual ailerons, V-tail mixing, delta mix and dual aileron/V-tail mixer. There are independent, simple to use gyro gain adjustments for the aileron, elevator and rudder functions, the stabilizer function can also be switched on and off in flight via CH5. The S.Bus functionality is perfect for large models and gliders that utilize a lot of servos, especially in the wings, it reduces the amount of wiring and keeps things nice and tidy.
The receiver will also accept a wide range of input voltages from 3.6~8.5V which is great if you want to use LV and HV type servos.
Compatible with the following Futaba FHSS 2.4Ghz air systems: 4YF, 6J, 8J and 10J, can also be used with the T14SG under S-FHSS protocol mode

I ordered it to use with my Futaba T10J transmitter under S-FHSS protocol. It binds easily in a second. Tested it with my standard analogue servos and worked fine. Stabilization mode also works fine, it can be controlled on 5th channel default.
On the manual it says 'Servos must be digital and high speed', I tested it with my analog and rather slow servos and worked without any problem. There was no odd sounds and movements on the servos. I will update this review for long-term usage with analogs and when I do a range test.

I Bought 3 of them!
One thing very important, it works only with digital servos !!!! So be careful !!!

stabilization works really well, binds in a less than a second to my t6j and t14sg transmitters.I needed to set end point on both my Tx on channel 3 (throttle) low side to 80pcnt and then recalibrate esc to Tx in order to get failsafe to shut motor off. not something i have ever had to do on futaba original receivers. Mid point on the trim pots is 0 and turning clockwise and counterclockwise gives poss or neg stabilization on the given channel, so be careful as you can reverse the stabilization direction when centering the pot. this is not that clear in the supplied manual.always need to reboot for adjustment to take effect. it does mean you can mount the unit in any orientation and get the desired correction movement on any channel by simply turning the trim pot the other way from zero if it is not right.
